For me, it all began one day back in 1982 when I first landed my first job with Herbal restaurants , in south Belfast. I was due to start my evening shift and I recall a new girl had came from another store to work that same shift also for that one night. For anonymous reasons we will call her Sarah.

Sarah was a beautiful young woman with a clear clean and almost pale complexion and she would remind you of a real Irish girl with flowing auburn hair. She was well mannered and a great worker. She initiated a conversation with me about being born again, a term I had never even heard of before. She said some things to me that I found a bit shocking for were I was at that particular time. She was a born again Christian and I was a Catholic. She began to tell me about the Jesus she knew. We respectively debated over holy communion and the bread which is part of the emblems. Sarah did mention that she was born again but failed to tell me how I could become born again. Little did I know it would be some 9 years later that I would come to know the Jesus she was trying to tell me about.

As many of you may know I have written and published my very first Christian book called “Finding the door”. I set about explaining, in a simple way, what it means to be born again or saved.

I was often asked by different people if I was a Christian and when I replied that I was a born again Christian I knew by the look on people’s faces that they didn’t know or understand what that term meant.

My new book is birthed from these conversations I had with people. I have always wanted to write my own book and so during the coronavirus pandemic I decided now is the time for me to begin to put pen to paper.

No greater time than this, to reach out to people of all walks of life with the message of salvation.

I know that people are fearful, stressed, nervous and anxious to say the least for almost the best part of two years and in order to help them with their life I believe my book will help people to decide how they can have real noticeable lasting peace and true joy that they so desire regardless of the circumstances going on around them.

Finding the door is indeed key to also finding God’s will and purpose for your life.
